Who Am I??
A cozy little get-to-know-me session!
Sometimes we follow people on social media (or subscribe to their email newsletters) thinking they’re one thing or will share one kind of content, when in reality, they’re something totally different. So I want to share with you who I am, the art I make, and what content you can expect to see from me!
So, hey! I’m Allison! And that cute little doggo is Annie Jane (aka #1 Studio Assistant)

I’m a traditional artist specializing in whimsical and nostalgic illustrations. My artwork is all about Cozy Vibes.™
My goal with each illustration is to help people see the GOOD in life (even in the mundane moments like folding a basket of laundry or sipping a cup of tea.) And my ultimate purpose in all I do is to glorify my Savior: Jesus.
While I love trying MANY different mediums like alcohol markers, ink, and collage, my current favorite is gouache. (I’m pretty well convinced that gouache is my art medium soul mate.)
Some of my biggest inspirations are Studio Ghibli (the folklore, the backgrounds, the music… that’s my jam), books (I love fantasy novels!!), and nature (like this cool squirrel skull my dad and I found on a walk! His name is Skullivan)

This is some of the art I’ve made this year!

And I also make these! (which you can find here)

One of the things I REALLY love is making YouTube videos. We just reached 10k subscribers, too! (here’s where you can watch those videos)
I’m all about the creative practice. So you can expect to see lots of my sketches, works in progress, and finished illustrations (yes, even the ugly sketches!) Each piece is a part of my creative journey, and I think it’s important to share the parts I struggle with, too.
The content I share is designed to be both INSPIRATIONAL and EDUCATIONAL for you: the Curious Creative.
Because YOU’RE the hero of your own art journey. I’m simply your wizard pal offering some guidance along the way. 😊 Or maybe like a talking squirrel friend who sometimes helps out on your artistic quests?...
Anyhoo, I’d love to get to know YOU better, so if you’d like to take a second to respond to this email, I’d love to chat!
