Y’all know I absolutely LOVE backgrounds. Interior environments, outdoor environments, props, set dressing, greenery… I love it all! I’m a cluttercore junkie and seriously can’t stop myself from adding All The Things to my illustrations.
So, when the Curious Creatives over on Patreon requested a deep dive into designing interior environments, I was THRILLED. For the next few months, we’re embarking on a quest to grow our interior design skills by:
--Brainstorming the Basics (developing a solid idea)
--Building a Layout (using a range of tools to get a sense for our space)
--Defining the Direction (understanding atmosphere and aesthetics and how we can use them to design our props)
--Crafting a Composition (putting it all together to create a scene that shares the story you want to tell)
