Do you ever feel like you're standing right on the brink of change? That moment just before you reach the top of a hill and can see the whole view on the other side? It's a very strange mixture of wildly exciting and incredibly peaceful. Like anything could happen, but whatever that "anything" is will be truly extraordinary.
2026 has not at all gone how I expected so far, and that's a very wonderful thing. Sure, there's been a lot of hardship, but there have also been SO MANY unexpected blessings.
When I'd given up hope that medical insurance would pay for a new treatment after a year of fighting for it, they finally did. (And that treatment is WORKING!)
The blossoming of new friendships after years of loneliness in my hometown.
Getting to spend an entire week with my very best friend after almost four years apart (and it was an absolute BLAST!)
Beginning a new endeavor in my creative business that truly resonates with the art I want to make and the story I want to tell.
This year has already been so full, but I can't help but feel like I'm on the brink of something else. Like there's something just up ahead waiting... Whatever this something is, I'm hoping and praying that the Lord will equip me to meet it head-on and find joy in the adventure of it all. 💛
