Do You Struggle With Drawing HANDS??

the struggle is REAL...

Hands. Many artists claim them as the bane of their existence. They write them off as too difficult to understand and too easy to cover up with carefully arranged poses (I’m a perpetrator of the “hands behind the back or in pockets” poses too 😉). But does it really have to be this way? Can we learn to not simply understand how to draw hands, but truly learn to LOVE drawing them?

I believe we can! That’s why we’re spending the next two months in the Curious Creatives tier on Patreon embarking on a quest to explore this subject. We’re diving into the intricate art of hands by exploring what’s underneath the surface, simplifying what we see, communicating through gesture, all equipping us to confidently draw hands from our own imagination.

In all honesty, this curriculum was a bit of a beast for me to write. About halfway through, I genuinely felt like giving up because I felt so underequipped to teach on this subject. But somewhere along, hands “clicked” for me and I understand them in a whole new way!
