I have always LOVED snail mail. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve adored writing letters! Sharing about my week, taking an interest in another’s daily doings, and slipping in little goodies like tea packets, stickers, or handmade items.

Over the past few months, I’ve been quietly brainstorming ways to bring coziness, curiosity, and creativity into people’s lives in a slower way. A way that helps people take a moment, be present, and see the good in their life and in their own creative practice.

When I started seeing mail clubs pop up in my newsfeed, my first thought was “this is PERFECT! Snail mail is right up my alley!”

…And then the impostor syndrome kicked in.

Everyone else is doing it, so who would want to be a part of mine?

Can I even afford to start a mail club?

Do I truly have anything of value to share with people in a 5x7 envelope?

And as we chatted about earlier this week, once again, I got in my own way. I let a few months go by fully believing that a mail club wasn’t the right endeavor. But all the while, I couldn’t get the idea out of my brain. I thought back to 7 year-old Allie, joyfully sending out letters to her friends and family. I remembered the sweet responses from those same friends and family saying that this one small piece of mail completely made their day.

So, with letter-loving lil’ Allie in mind and a strong hope that this will bring that coziness, curiosity, and creativity into YOUR life in a wonderful way, I’m excited to share that I WILL be starting a mail club!

I’m still working out the timeline of it all as well as what will be included in each envelope, but here’s kind what I’m thinking:

For $10 U.S. (or $12 International) per month, each member of the Meraki Mail Club will receive:

-A 4x6in print of one of my Meraki Monday sketches (these are printed on Super Fancy paper with a subtle grain that makes it feel like an original!)

-A personalized pen pal letter from me

-An additional item (this will change month-to-month. For example, one month might be a vinyl sticker, the next might be an additional 4x6in print, a bookmark, etc.)

And ONE random Meraki Mail Member will receive an original mini sketch or mini painting!

I’ve been a busy little bee brainstorming LOADS of ideas, themes, and goodies for this, and I’m unbelievably excited to get it all started! If you want to be a Meraki Mail Member, stay tuned to be the first to know when subscriptions open.
