Last week we chatted about how I’m intentionally curating and setting boundaries around the input I receive. One of the sources of input I’ve been absolutely LOVING lately is the In Her Studio magazine, celebrating the many stories and spaces of creative women all over the world! And this magazine got me thinking about some of the creative women I adore most. So, today, I want to share a few of them with you!
1) @artofhannahyoung Apart from being my best friend, Hannah is also a BRILLIANT artist with a hand in every creative pie. I’m serious, there’s nothing this lady can’t do! Recently she finished a series of paintings inspired by Psalm 23, and I was absolutely overwhelmed by the beauty of these pieces. From the soft color palette to the fluffy sheep to the depth of the landscapes, I couldn’t take my eyes off of these paintings. Hannah inspires me to always use my gifts for the glory of God and to connect with my Creator through my creativity.

2) @etherealartiste Camila is a clay artist with a big passion for BREAD. If you love Kiki’s Delivery Service, Camila’s creations are definitely your vibe! I’ve had the pleasure of watching her embrace her love of sculpting as well as observing her insane growth in her skills over the past few years. No one so perfectly captures the texture of delicious carbs quite like she does! Camila inspires me to dive into whatever creative avenues excite me, even if they might seem a little off-the-wall to some people.
3) @poopikat Kate is an unbelievable mixed-media artist who creates some of the most whimsical and wonderful illustrations! “Childlike Wonder” is the vibe I get from her work, and whenever adulting weighs me down, I take a peek at her beautiful art. Kate’s work reminds me to embrace the whimsical and wonderful, and to hold onto a childlike heart.
Each of these wonderful women (and so many more!) daily inspire me to dive deeper into my own creative practice, and I hope they can do the same for you!
